The Real World Hollywood

The twentieth season of MTV's groundbreaking reality show "The Real World" will be in set in Hollywood, California. Once again, the seven strangers will live together in a house and have their lives filmed. This season, the majority of the cast is in the entertainment industry and will using their location to help them further their career goals.

This season, the cast will live in an environmentally friendly residence, the Columbia Square Building. Located on West Sunset Boulevard, the building is 105,000 square feet and takes up an entire city block. It will include a solar-heated swimming pool, energy efficient appliances, bamboo flooring, recycled glass counters, and energy efficient lighting. MTV also plans to showcase during the series different ways the viewing audience can easily "go green."

For the first time in the show's sixteen-year history, the producers decided to allow fans to choose a roommate. Twenty thousand would-be roommates posted 90 second confessional videos on the Real World Casting page and fans were allowed to vote for the one they wanted to see live in the house. After almost 3 million votes, Greg Halstead, a.k.a. "Pretyboy," was declared the winner.

Brianna Taylor

Brianna is a 20-year-old exotic dancer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She hopes to become a singer and even auditioning for "American Idol" season five. Sensitive, but also outspoken, Brianna is leaving an abusive relationship with her boyfriend to live in the house.

David Malinosky

David is a 22-year-old aspiring actor from Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. He is a good athlete who loves many sports. He is outgoing and loves "shock" humor.

Greg Halstead

Greg was voted into the house by fans online. The 20-year-old model hails from Daytona Beach, Florida. He calls the people around him "peasants" and women "associates." He is very competitive and enjoys playing pranks around the house. He is currently enrolled in the University of Florida studying criminal justice.

Joey Kovar

This 24-year-old personal trainer from Chicago, Illinois was once a former bodybuilder, but like the current California governor, he now hopes to break into the acting business. This season, Joey will admit to his fellow housemates that he had a substance abuse problem.

Kimberly Alexander

A Southerner, Kimberly was raised in a religious household. The oldest housemate at age 25, Kimberly is an aspiring reporter whom the other housemates occasionally think is "ditzy" and at times, offensive with her comments.

Sarah Ralston

Sarah, an Arizona State University grad, too hopes to become a reporter. She is a feminist, but also has strong conservative views. Leaving a boyfriend at home may prove to be a problem for her this season.

William Gilbert

Will, from Detroit, Michigan, is a 24-year-old DJ who works weddings, parties, and bar mitzvahs. He hopes to use his charismatic, witty ways to become a music producer. He may be the ladies man of the house this season.
