With parent's who grant their every wish, nothing is impossible! And it is not just the girls who insist on the most lavish parties!
What are some of the most extravagant episodes? There was Sophie of West Palm Beach, Florida. Her birthday party theme was Moulin Rouge. Her mom spent over $180,000 on the party - including a new Audi A4 for Sophie!
Then there was the Fremont, California triplets Jessica, Ashley, and Candace. Daddy spent $40,000 to have Sugarcult perform at the girl's birthday party. But then that is only a little over $13,000 per daughter.
Aaron of New York City had a special guest at his birthday party too - Kanye West. Mariah Carey only appeared on video to wish Aaron a happy birthday. By the way, Aaron's dad is music producer L.A. Reid who heads Island/Def Jam music and his mom is the singer Pebbles.
Cher, of Palm Harbor, Florida, had a Mardi Gras themed ball. When she went outside, she saw her present - a $96,000 red Jaguar. How can anyone top that birthday? But she was not the only one to get a nice ride. Katie from Memphis, Tennessee got a $125,000 customized Hummer complete with a chandelier, two televisions, and a mini bar. Oh, she also got a $100,000 watch from Jacob the Jeweler.
Then there was Chris from New York City. His theme was Michael Jackson's album "Off the Wall" and for his 18th birthday, he received $250,000 worth of bling, a customized Lamborghini, new clothing from Rocawear.
MTV even made a film, Super Sweet 16: The Movie, based on the reality series. It featured pop stars Aly & AJ and premiered on MTV on July 8, 2007. The plot involved best friends Jacquie and Sara who shared the same birthday. After another girl tries to come between the friends, they end up fighting and competing to have the best sweet 16 party ever.
