TLC Reality TV Shows
Even though TLC stands for The Learning Channel you can find a lot of great reality television programs on it. Some of our favorite reality programs on TLC include:
Trading Spaces
Paige Davis has returned as host for this home improvement shows. Two people renovate a room in the other person's house. They have 48 hours and a budget of $1,000 to complete the renovations. When Davis returned the show was given a twist - it's no longer just neighbors redoing a room; now we see makeovers between bosses and employees, ex-spouses, parents and children, and in-laws.
Jon and Kate Plus 8
Jon and Kate Gosselin have two sets of multiples - a set of twin girls Cara and Maddy, and sextuplets - Hannah, Leah, Alexis, Aaden, Joel and Colin. This reality program gives viewers a glimpse into the complicated life of this family and the challenges faced by Jon and Kate as they parent their eight children.
What not to Wear
Stacy London and Clinton Kelly host this popular makeover show. A person is nominated by family and friends and if selected gets an all-expenses paid trip to New York City; wardrobe advice and consultations by London and Kelly; $5,000 to purchase a new wardrobe (since part of the catch is that the old wardrobe is thrown away); a new hairstyle courtesy of stylist Nick Arrojo and a new look courtesy of make up artist Carmindy.
Little People, Big World
This program follows the life of the Roloff family - a family made up of both little and average sized people. Viewers watch as Matt and Amy Roloff and their family meet obstacles and challenges head on.
Say Yes to the Dress
A behind the scenes look at one of the top bridal salons in the world, Kleinfeld Bridal, and the women who go to pick out the dress for the most important day of their life. Viewers see the process as the staff helps each woman select the perfect dress, as the bride goes through fittings, the alteration process, and finally when the gown is delivered to the bride for her special day.
10 Years Younger
This show gives the opportunity to someone to help them look younger. The participants have often overcome a significant challenge in their life that when all is said and done they look older than they actually are. The person is put in a glass box where strangers guess their age. After their makeover they are put back in the glass box in the hopes that the average age guessed by strangers will be 10 years younger than the original one.
Rock the Reception
Rock the Reception follows couples looking for unique and interesting first dances for their wedding day as they work with world class choreographers to create a routine their guests won't forget.

Ashley Paige is a well known fashion designer, yet still struggles with finanancial issues as she tries to succeed in the business. Viewers get to see Ashley as she works with her staff in trying to reach her goal of being on top in business.

Three single moms go out into the dating world once again and viewers get to see it all. From meeting these women to seeing them on first dates, Must Love Kids could be described as The Bachelorette for real women.
